Service Sites 

Julie Community Center

The Julie Community Center is a multi-purpose, non-profit organization that provides an after-school program, youth enrichment, and summer camp for middle school students, as well as language and GED instruction and academic support for adult learners. NDMV members serve as support for these programs, taking on leadership roles throughout the service year.

Boys Hope Girls Hope

Boys Hope, Girls Hope – Baltimore is part of a national network that gives young people the access, opportunity, and network they need to leverage their strengths and reach their goals. They offer a long-term commitment of nurturing support, education, and guidance from middle school into career launch. Scholars are offered a live-in experience while getting individualized mentorship, educational support, and access to numerous resources. NDMV members are offered housing while they support students in their daily activities through behavioral support, after school homework help, and programming and mentorship.

Stocks in The Future 

Stocks in the Future is a program designed to address the needs of all students in grades K-12. Their goal is to teach students financial literacy and essential skills in investing to reinforce academics. NDMV members provide programming support by supporting classroom workshops and volunteer coordination.

Clay Pots: A Place to Grow

Clay Pots: A Place to Grow is a community center formed to provide a safe space that fosters personal and professional growth. NDMV members offer classes and workshops to adult learners centered around GED, language, and wellness programming, and they support special community events throughout the year.

Safe Alternative Foundation for Education (SAFE)

SAFE is an organization that strives to provide educational opportunities to the youth and young adults within the community. NDMV members can serve in the after school program focusing on providing middle schoolers with academic support or Health & Fitness workshops. NDMV members can also serve in the workforce center, providing young adults aged 18-24 opportunities for alternative work and life skills and increasing future economic independence.

Mother Seton Academy

Mother Seton Academy is a co-ed catholic middle school dedicated to the lifelong success of their students. NDMV members serve in the classroom, the extended day programming, and the library.

Cristo Rey High School

Cristo Rey High School seeks to empower youth to succeed in college, career, and life. Supporting students in grades 9-12, NDMV members will serve in the School Counseling Department supporting students in the work study program.

The Agoge Project

The Agoge Project uses Boxing and Martial Arts to cultivate self-empowerment, discipline, academic excellence, and a sense of community. NDMV members support the after school program by providing academic support, health and wellness classes, and mentorship to the community youth.
