Homeboy Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. They stand as a beacon of hope in Los Angeles to provide training and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated people, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. NDMV members serve in their Workforce Development Program supporting digital literacy and facilitating workshops on resume building, interviewing, and career development.
“I Have A Dream” (IHFD) - LA is part of a national network that believes that when given equal access to resources all children can ignite their innate potential and achieve their dreams. IHDF partners with youth and their families as they successfully navigate school, college, and career by providing long-term, holistic academic, behavioral programming for students from 1st grade through college and supporting Students with postsecondary scholarships. NDMV members serve by engaging with students in the classroom and after school programming, offering education support and workshops, building relationships, and providing enriching, hands-on projects, theme-based learning and opportunities for K-12 and college aged students.
Boys Hope Girls Hope – LA is part of a national network that gives young people the access, opportunity, and network they need to leverage their strengths and reach their goals. They offer a long-term commitment of nurturing support, education, and guidance from middle school into career launch. Scholars are offered a live-in experience while getting individualized mentorship, educational support, and access to numerous resources. NDMV members are offered housing while they support students in their daily activities through behavioral support, after school homework help, and programming and mentorship.
