“I Have A Dream” (IHDF) - Newark is part of a national network that believes that when given equal access to resources all children can ignite their innate potential and achieve their dreams. IHDF partners with youth and their families as they successfully navigate school, college, and career by providing long-term, holistic academic, behavioral programming for students from 1st grade through college as well as supporting students with postsecondary scholarships. NDMV members serve by engaging with students in the classroom and after school programming, offering education support and workshops, building relationships, and providing enriching, hands-on projects, theme-based learning and opportunities for students in grades K-6.
Gateway U is a college support program that provides personalized coaching to students enrolled in Southern New Hampshire University. They work to improve socio-economic mobility through an affordable and accessible college choice and are committed to providing a high-quality academic experience, flexible course work, and a community of support to ensure students graduate faster and with little to no debt. NDMV members serve as a support to a cohort of students throughout the semester. Members help not only individuals meet their academic goals but also their personal goals.
